Blimey that’s a fair bit of carbon build up...........i didn’t clean the manifold when i did mine but didn’t have quite the same build up as yours. I did clean the entry hole into the manifold being careful not to let any bits drop inside.

mine was bad but not as bad as yours..i just cleaned as much as i could see before the blanking.. |

Wow - that is a bad one. I would run some fuel cleaner through the tank for a few fill - ups. I would also use Shell V power for a while (if you can get that in Ireland) |

Here's mine after circa 120k miles - 2003. No idea if it's original or been cleaned, but not during the 50k miles of my ownership.
