You can tint the fronts, just not as much - you can go to 30% - the law I have 30% on the fronts, 40% on the back doors & 50% in the boot - or something like that. You can't really tell the difference and it avoids it looking like a van ![]() |

I think you will find that the standard fronts are already tinted not far off the legal limit of 30% in any event and you cannot realistically go any darker without risking prosecution - that's what Pentagon told me. |

I like the tint, but the L322 is a lot better than most cars without tint. I HATE untinted windows that are significantly smaller on the inside than the outside and end up with a big black border around them. The rear loadspace side windows on the new Range Rover are a good example of this. |

On the rare occasion we conduct roadside operations that include tintman, the most a driver can expect is to remove the tint there and then before being allowed on their way. To be honest, there are more important things to deal with. |

Once my car is brought home my tint guy comes over immediately to tint my cars out. |

Have to admit to being slightly obsessive on gangster glass. I accept that if you want to look like a drug dealer or a complete dick, having succeeded enough to have a range rover you should be allowed to be as chavy as you want.

Ah yes, another added benefit, people don't tailgate you as they cannot see through |

You are spot on ![]() ![]() I got pulled yesterday,... well the Mr Plod followed me into work! Got the light metre out and the fronts which had a light tint on showed 38 ish %, without the tint on the fronts after peeling it off was 73% light in, just to let you all know the windscreen was 80%! Just shows that you really cant put any tint on the front! If it dont work.......burn it! If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF. If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser! If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !! |

Factory tint is certainly my preference and particularly having a light interior and RSE.

Definitely the gangster look for me. But it isn't to hide the drugs, it keeps the small designer sausage dogs who reside on back seat cool and out of the sun and away from those who might have other intentions. |
