Yup, quite common, search for FSR or final stage resistor, got my garage to replace mine a couple of years back.

That looks like just the later Land Rover / BMW part. I'm pretty sure its a BMW part anyways..........

Is it not cheaper from the main dealer ?

I'd double check before ordering.

Not sure of the equiv BMW part number, but when a mate of mine changed his, it was a BMW unit he put in.

I believe the cooling "prongs" are slightly longer, which can make it more of a tight squeeze to change.

Looks the right part to me. Just not sure if its the right price... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I understand the original one will drain the battery if it fails. Should be fine otherwise.

The original unit is prone to failure though, but I'd still only change it if its causing you an issue. It could still be good.

Fault symptoms appear to be fan only working at full speed and coming on and off, up and down on its own. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I bought two for £30 off the bay, 1st one still going strong (but I am on my 3rd one in 5 years!)

See my howto here:

No point replacing it unless you have no fans, fans all the time or severe battery drain .

you will need to lift the center consol or remove it, you will see the fan motor at the bottom bolted down, bolts are on both sides along with a multi plug, at the front of the motor there is a clip on the plastic work, this is a Censored to get to and you will find that it snaps...the FSR is mounted in the side V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.
