I didn't Stan. That's brilliant. Funny how almost every aircraft is an A320 or a 737. |

Last of the VC-10's retired today. Amazing to think they entered service with the RAF the same year England last won the world cup and the year of my birth.

Yes, always one of my favorite aircraft, and those Rolls Royce Conway's were the first turbofans to enter service.

The only reason they didn't order more A380's before was airport capacity. They're massively increasing capacity now for even more growth. |

Quite a shopping list. for the A380! I like cool airplanes, and without Concorde, it's probably the most impressive of what's left. I can't believe 90! I didn't think ANY airline was big enough to need that number. Not so pleased about the Boeing deal. After their latest attack on their workers, I wasn't wishing them well. However, this isn't the place for a rant. |

Passanger traffic thru emirates as an airline is just getting bigger and bigger every year and other airlines are struggling to understand how and it scares a lot of them! Also dont forget how much capital they have as well compared to others that are still debt laden to a certain extent and struggling to get the books to balance over the last few years and facing a fair amount of forced redundancies and big restructures.

I saw that. It did manage to take off again though. Can't wait to read the explanation. |
