Hi everyone,

I have a quick tow bar type question. I have bought all the bits for a tow bar; the armiture is fitted and I have got a receiver and a swan neck. The swan neck is type one with a red key on it, what I can't work out is how the swan neck goes into the receiver ?

The key when in the two positions seem to allow a dial to be pulled out slightly and turned.

Any help greatly appreciated!

You need to pull the handle out and turn it until it locks before pushing into the hole.Then when you push it into the reciever it will self engage.

To remove. Pull out handle/knob turn until it locks and it should come out.  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

cheers i will have a crack this afternoon, also i am assuming that there should be some sort of pin to keep the receiver from falling out of the armature?

A bolt with an anti vibration nut and a security pin/circlip (as it tends to constantly vibrate loose when towing weight)

excellent, where would i purchase such an item?
