Hi Googsy

Depending on your current firmware version:

V2.17: IIDTool Menu->Service Test->Set Tight or Normal Tolerance

V2.18: IIDTool Menu->Service Test->RLM Suspension->Set Tight or Normal Tolerance

The following is from the user manual of your IIDTool:

-Set tight / normal tolerance
This will set the EAS ECU into tight or normal tolerance mode. In normal tolerance mode, the EAS ECU will adjust a corner when it’s +/- 10 mm or higher than the desired height. For example if the corner is at +9 mm, it will not correct the height. If the corner is at +11 mm, the EAS ECU will make adjustments. In tight tolerance mode, a tolerance of +/- 3 mm is used.

CAUTION

Leaving the EAS ECU permanently in this mode can lead to premature failing of components

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Hi Steve

Quick question - after much forum trawling have realised why my Park Heat function is not working - and the answer seems to be a GAP IID tool....

I have a 2010MY FF and have had a look at your website - it appears you are still developing the unit for this MY.

How close is this latest version to being released (in case i need to go and buy gloves! )

Thanks

Thanks Stan.

Have just popped to my local indy to borrow their diagnostic. In the words of the mechanic - 'never seen so many fault codes...' Shocked .

Roll on three weeks and I can have a proper look see. 10MY 3.6TDV8 Vogue SE - Stornoway Grey

Hi Matt,
Yes, as Stan said roughly 3 weeks or so and they should be available. Only in a bluetooth version as - despite looking very cool in the pic below - the display flickers due to LR not finishing the cluster SW to the point where external messages can be shown w/o probs.

Is your indy used to working on RRs (or D3s, etc)? There are usually quite a number of faults listed but most are either irrelevant due to being a one time issue or due to past probs that have been corrected w/o the fault codes having been erased.

When you've purchased your IIDTool, make a note of any faults you consider important and then clear all. In periodic intervals, check and see which faults come back. These than can be addressed (or ignored :p ). Give us a shout at support at gap-diagnostic dotcom if you have any questions.

Cheers

Hi Axle

Unfortunately, it is not possible to modify the Access height independently on your vehicle. This can only be done on 2002-2005 RR since these are fitted with a different ECU. The IIDTool allows changing the standard height which is the reference point for all other height modes. For example, lowering the standard height by 10 mm will also lower the offraod and access height by 10 mm. If you need to lower it temporarily, let’s say to wash vehicle or to install luggage on the roof rack, you can use the test valve functions to lower it to the bumpstops. It will only take a few seconds to do it.

Cheers

Ordered a Gap IID tool BT Version 2002-2005 from island4x4 today now I just have to wait for the postman to deliver it and I can start to have some fun.

I can't find any info on the Android app so is it available yet? if it is does it work with a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or does it only work on an ipad at the moment.

Alan
