Hi Lee, Sorry, it was late when I replied here last night and I forgot to reply to your PM. Here is a reply to the rest of your questions:
The simple bluetooth app can replace the 'Integrated Interface' controls (cruise switchgear and cluster display). Check the vids http://www.gap-diagnostic.com/video.html There will be a 'smarter' app for ipad coming towards the end of the year with additional functions such as the display of multiple live values, etc. You do need a BLE compatible device (bluetooth V.4). iOS devices are the iPhone 4s and up, the iPad 3 and up, and the iPad mini. There are numerous Android devices of the latest generation including the Galaxy S3 and 4, and the Nexus 7 (most anyway....). We will be releasing Windows and OSx (Mac) controller apps as well. cheers, Steve RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr, P38, and 2 L322s (wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too) |

the iphone5 is just right tbh, all the 'controls' can be used with your thumbs ...the ipad might be a bit awkward to hold ... ... - .- -.

The iPad app will have more functions (many more in the future) and is not necessarily designed for thumb only use - that is more a smartphone thing anyway.

Would a BT version IID tool work using a BT Version 4 USB Dongle plugged into a Windows 7 Laptop? |
