Recommend a Film or TV show

a thread for some recommendations of film and TV, always find them quite useful on other forums when stuck for something to watch.

World War Z, thoroughly enjoyed this, nice to see zombies moving that fast for a change, although not half as good as the book.

The Internship, not sure what quite to say about this, perhaps the foundation of product placement in films in the future, basically a massive advert of how good it is to work for google, funny in places but just strange. You can paypal direct using - www.paypal.me/duckworthparts

Moonrunners: the film that precursed the Dukes of Hazzard and which is, mostly, true.

Charlie and Boots: great Australian road movie with Paul Hogan and Shane Jacobson. Si. <This is my name.

For me hands down the best series currently on TV is 'Duck Dynasty'

Basically its a reality show about a family business, run by rednecks who hit it big making duck calls, now they are super rich but still live in the swamp.

They spend most of their time hunting ducks, blowing things up and generally having fun whilst trying to complete orders for duck calls.

Well worth watching, here is a quick look

I remember watching this series as a kid in the 70's and thinking it was brilliant, so recently I bought the DVD box set.

It's still quite good, but no where as good as I remember it.

Same with Starksy and Hutch, except now I think that's really crap.

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

Big Bang Theory, best comedy I have seen in many years.
Fawlty Towers, still brilliant
Allo Allo, still brilliant

the Fifth Element, best SF movie with humour in it
Blade Runner, best SF movie period

Forrest Gump, love it

Men in Black, just nice

Riddick, like the "darkness"of them, can't wait for the next to come out

Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Hobbit

Pirates of the Caribbean, just nice

Priscilla Queen of the Desert, absolutely brilliant movie (even better if you watch it in a hostel in Alice Springs Smile )

Soldaat van Oranje (not sure if you can get it with English subtitles), top movie (Paul Verhoeven of Robocop fame). More interesting if you are Dutch and the war has meaning to you (my grand parents and parents have lived in it). Based on the true life story of the main character.

The Worlds Fastest Indian, lovely little docu drama

The Worlds Best Marigold Hotel, brilliant little movie that came out not too long ago.

The Perks of being a Wallflower MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
