had a look at your link mate and got some ideas i can try. so thank you.. its just the firing circuit 1 part i would like to find out about. |

thinking about that and i'd be worried that its something to do with the way the airbag goes off.. ... - .- -.

oh that does not sound good. surely there not designed so there could off at any time could they?? is it worth trying to get it disconnected? |

It will be the slip ring in the steering coloumn usually... 2 plugs = 2 stage firing... So your fault will be with the wiring to plug one or two on the drivers airbag (usually a break in the slip ring wiring)

oh ok thanks graig. funny enough the chap i got the car from said he had a problem like that and he said he just cleaned the rings/connections up and the airbag light went out. but he said i should have no probs with it, but who knows. do you know roughly how much new parts would be from beadles? thanks again. jacko |
