Give it a good run and get it warm look for oil leaks check all electrics work oh and check the cd works I missed that one on mine.
Drive it slow over some bumps and listen for knocking check the spare wheel see if its clean in the boot and look for damage.
If its not as described walk away there are plenty about, there was a belter in sunderland same year when I was looking a few weeks ago but I did not want petrol on gas I need the boot space for fishing gear at times

?? how so when it is the original face (i.e. pre 2005 facelift). Maybe you can get another £500 off!!??
