About a week ago, I started getting the " Suspension Fault" message flash up on the dash. Sometimes it goes a step further and says MAx speed 30MPH". If I turn car off and remove the keys, then restart, it comes up OK and seems to be OK until I try to change the height.

If I attempt to raise the height, 9 times out of ten it will go up with no issues, but everytime I lower the vehicle past standard into Access, it will beep and display suspension fault, likewise if I press the access button on the door. The rear of the vehicle seems to go up and down , but the beep and error message happens when it tries to move the front. I suspect that maybe a front height sensor is to blame.

I was wondering if anyone has any further info? If I got hold of new height sensors and replaced them myself, will the car need to be recalibrated anyway, so not worth me doing?

Has anyone had good experience from any Independant Landrover specialist in and around the Berkshire or Bucks area?

Get yourself one of these EAS Reset tools. It does more than reset, it reads the stored fault codes and gives you a description of the fault. It saves you chasing your tail a lot and is about the cost of 1hr's labour at Land Rover.

there is a modified exhaust filter for compressor (small brass looking tapered plug screwed in on the end)
you could try removing it and see if it helps it is only there to stop noise

Thanks for that dan_uk_1984, but as great as that tool looks to be, I don't believe it will work on my 2007 MY car, such a pity.

fault code usually says pressure does not decreace when venting gallery

Thanks lrdraft, that was exactly what my problem turned out to be, after a new modified exhaust valve on compressor, the car is now up and down like a hores draws
