Interesting question Jonny...I'm about to take delivery of a 2012 TDV8 L322, it's fitted with 285/40/22 wheels/tyres. So overall probably a bit bigger diameter than yours, I'll have to look and see if it's knocked off that spike you're talking about! |

i had 295/45/20 on my td6 with no clearance problems but my tyres were on RRS wheels which have more of an offset and a larger width.

spacers are an alternative certainly but they cost about £200 new..there are some used ones on ebay as well..they tend to be 30mm for each one so that will give you plenty of clearance and of course a better 'stance' look.... ... - .- -.

This is the part sticking down towards the tyre that might get knocked off ? For some reason it has yellow chalk/paint on it ?

if they are 20'' and off a fullfat the offset will be the same as yours.. ... - .- -.
