Hi there, I'm relatively new to forums (or is it fora!) but not new to Range Rovers. I have enjoyed several since switching from Discos to FFRR in 2002. Here is a potted history...
2002 TDV6 3.0 Vogue Adriatic/Parchment (replaced by JLR)
2003 TDV6 3.0 Vogue Epsom/Tan (traded in)
2005 TDV6 3.0 Vogue Adriatic/Parchment (traded in)
2006 TDV8 3.6 Vogue SE Stornaway/Parchment (traded in)
2009 TDV8 3.6 Vogue SE Atacama/Arabica (replaced by JLR)
2010 TDV8 4.4 Vogue SE Baltic/Parchment (replaced by JLR)
2011 TDV8 4.4 Vogue SE Buckingham/Ivory (replaced by JLR)

I think the moral here is don't buy the first vehicle off the production line when there is a major change. Anyway, I am expecting delivery of a SDV8 4.4 Autobiography in Scotia/Ivory late September, having realised switching to a V6 after driving a V8 for seven years was a mistake. Don't get me wrong - the V6 3.0 engine does what it says on the tin, it just has to work so hard to do so. Whoever dreamt up an mpg of 37.7 must be on another planet. MY15.5 SDV8 4.4 A/B FFRR Mariana/Ivory

Been a member for a while but only just discovered this thread!

I have had three full fats - an old classis V8 a few years ago, a 4.4 petrol 55 plate - I tried a sport 3.0 V6 but couldnt get on with it and now am the proud owner of a MY10 3.6 TDV8 which is fantastic.

I also run an XKR for the summer.

Newbie....well to be fair not even a newbie, a non-owner !

Having had a D1, D2 & D3 I have decided to look at a range rover. I want a TDV8 VSE around 07-08 as that's just within my budget with the loss of a kidney.

Have seen a couple that are very nice and looking to get a car from a forum person, enthusiast or recommended dealer.

Just found this site while looking for info on replacing the reverse camera as its next to useless at night.

Have had Land Rovers for most of my driving life and mainly Range Rovers in the last decade.
