Bulge in door - intermittent reverse cam

Hi all,
Still new to the forum so apologies if I go astray or this is covered elsewhere.

I'm looking at purchasing a 2006/55 SC that appears to be in quite good condition.
One of the things I picked up though was what looks like a bulg in the lower section of the rear drivers side door.
I couldn't make out any other damage, scratches or marks just a strange bulge in the "plastic" section??

Any ideas what this could be and are these panels easy to fix/replace??

Also the reversing cam is very temperamental and refuses to work most of the time.
Again is this an easy fix or replace?? I've noted on some forums retrofitting non OEM cameras, I just wasn't sure if this was a known problem or not.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

The lower door panels are plastic clip on jobbies, so yes, you could pop it off, see what the bulge is and potentially replace. Discovery 4 HSE

It would be easy enough to remove the inner door panel to see if there is any damage to the door panel behind. Tom

Wow

What service Bow down

Is there any particular bonding tape to use when putting back together?

Mostly just watch out you don't break the clips as they are pretty brittle at best , if you need tape 3M double sided tape will do Thumbs Up

It's best to get the door card off and squeeze the white nylon clips inwards and outwards, just pulling at the panel/ clips can break the thinnest part of the panel where the clip sits.... If it does, a blob of non- setting body sealant will replace an odd missing clip. For future ref -- On the rear doors, there is a little screw right at the trailing edge as well as the clips. Thumbs Up

Thanks guys.
All sounds manageable so might have another look at this one.
