When I say I noticed a bulg I meant a bulge!!

The lower door panels are plastic clip on jobbies, so yes, you could pop it off, see what the bulge is and potentially replace. Discovery 4 HSE

It would be easy enough to remove the inner door panel to see if there is any damage to the door panel behind. Tom

^^ what they said re the bulge and the rear view camera isnt the best quality and some have repaired or replaced ..how to is in the wiki.. ... - .- -.

Mostly just watch out you don't break the clips as they are pretty brittle at best , if you need tape 3M double sided tape will do |

It's best to get the door card off and squeeze the white nylon clips inwards and outwards, just pulling at the panel/ clips can break the thinnest part of the panel where the clip sits.... If it does, a blob of non- setting body sealant will replace an odd missing clip. For future ref -- On the rear doors, there is a little screw right at the trailing edge as well as the clips. |
