Access switch not working

EAS is fully functional including auto drop to m'way height but switch on door to select access height ahead of parking does nothing. Tried it stationary in P and N also just to check it wasn't speed related. Is it fused?

possibly fused , you'd have to look on rave/topix for that but most probably a loose connection on the switch ..do the windows work ok? ... - .- -.

easiest thing to do would be to disconnect the battery for an hour...if this doesnt work then its the door card off to check for loose connections ..i would have thought that the whole switch gear would be on one fuse and hence your windows are working then its not the fuse..[might be wrong though].. ... - .- -.

Have you had a look at the plug on the back of the switch. Mine wasn't working and upon removal of the door card I discovered the plug had disconnected from the switch. Simples & handy little feature.

done battery - no joy. Door card off and switch connector unplugged then re-plugged. No joy. Did notice that all wiring looms behind door card had insulation tape halfway along wiring runs. Is that normal?
