You need to make sure the banjo ends are the same as you have as there are two different types

In had mine made by brakes international (front brembo). A braided hose was about £22 and much better design and life expectancy than the rubber hose. My Previous RR's!

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

Does anyone know where you can get sets of braided brakes hoses for the FFRR ?? I am considering replacing mine as our mechanics don't give a hoot about calipers "stretching" the hoses while waiting for parts (in my case sometimes weeks). I do go check regularly and put the calipers on something so the hoses don't get screwed but I'd feel better if they were replaced by braided hoses (used to do that on all my motorbikes as a standard rule, while replacing the brake fluid after I bought them). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Bump - I want to replace mine with SS when I do the caliper swap, but nobody seems to make them? I had a goodridge set on my D2 and they were great, be a shame if they aren't made for FF's? NW060

Find yourself a local hydraulics place. Agricultural, commercial, it really doesn't matter. If you show them a pattern they can usually make it in whatever material you choose.

You won't notice any difference though, in the old days pre ABS they used to use very cheap rubber that was spongy and gave a poor pedal feel, the increased pressures now used in the braking systems meant they had to upgrade the material they are made of, stainless braided are now just a gimmick, no better than original, especially at the back where it is a two piece pipe with a metal section in the middle.. save your money and fit standard.... Pete

For anyone interested, you can buy the parts and make up your own stainless steel braided hoses. Very easy to do. Used them on my previous Land Rover, my ffrr , kitcar, quad bike and never had a problem. You buy the hose per metre and whatever ends you need. Cost around £12 to £15 per corner when i did mine. I used Rally Design. Demon Tweeks also sell them. '04 td6 se

Shocked I'm not sure I'd personally trust anything I'd crimped together for use as a high pressure brake line!

If nothing is available off the shelf, I guess I'll have to go with some replacement genuine hoses. Interestingly, I have always found the brakes on mine to be quite spongy and lacking in feel, despite having been bled through with racing spec fluid - ergo I can only assume the the original rubber hoses have indeed gone soft NW060

You don't crimp the ends on, the lines come in different lengths with a standard threaded end, you then buy the particular end to suit our car that screws to the standard end, they work well but as I said earlier, not really worth it on the FF... Thumbs Up Pete

FWIW I eventually capitulated and bought standards from LR Duckworths, to complement all my new pipework front and back Smile .
