Not specifically Mariana, but any metallic black is one of those colours which looks great when it's clean and polished, and lousy when it's dirty and marred from poor wash techniques.

As above really, black is a complete ball ache to keep looking A1. I machine polished mine last year, it looked a million times better, changed my washing method & all my gear but the paint is now showing swirl marks again. Looks like another session with the polisher! |

Thanks for all the replies. I've no issues with living with a black car. My last 2 cars have been black (out of choice). I'm happy to make sure the car has a good wax base and quite like the opportunity to spend a little time getting our cars looking there best.
