Well, it seems that my battery just could not cope with the Pre Heater this morning. I switched it on and after half an hour went to leave the house, it's as flat as a flat thing again. So, the AA are coming out to jump start me but I think I'll have to get this replaced ASAP. (Especially as I like using the pre heater on cold mornings)

Prices gained so far vary wildly, looks like I'll be going down to my local independent again as they have come up trumps.

you could also try an agricultural machinery dealer - around the £75 to £80 ex VAT mark. They are the same size battery as some tractors, but just make sure the terminals are in the same place. |

Went down to my local indy garage this afternoon, they replaced the battery and also rebalanced my front wheels for free. (Yet to see if this has worked as only got country lanes between me and them)

Wheel vibration much less than before but still noticable on braking wonder if the replaced front discs I had done a few months back have slightly warped? Discovery 4 HSE

Find it strange to be your discs especially since you have just had your wheels balanced . when you changed your discs did you change your pads as well ........... |

If its a warped brake disc then it will get significantly worse when you apply the brakes - otherwiose likely to be a wheel warped, out of balance or possibly a bearing. |
