Fixed the reverse camera - Dicky connection but the picture is covered in nasty lines so I think the camera unit is shot. I'll grab a replacement from the bay and sort that another time.

Checked the engine and transmission software was up-to-date. Then mapped the powertrain with an Alive map from Gary. |

Drove back home from Spain for 1800 km... Again lots of rain in Southern France for about 6 hours of the trip but all in all a great ride and very comfortabel in the FF!!! Experienced such bad rain that cars were stopping on the highway, they wouldn't dare to pass trucks due to the amount of water on the roads which they would throw up against passing vehicles. Traffic reduced speed to 30 km on the highway and some just pulled over... We didn't feel unsafe in the FF for a bit and due to sitting in a higher position then normal vehicles we still were able to drive and see where we were going. SWMBO really enthusiastic about the ride in the FF as well... her words (which of course are very important) "it can stay..."

Finally took some time out to get the recently repaired rear quarter window re-tinted. I try to avoid the motorways as the more backroads make for a far more enjoyable drive and took the A3/A31/A32 from London to Southampton. What a truly amazing drive today, in love wi the A32.

Just changed my 'chrome-over-ed' vents for a set of 3 fin plain grey ones. With the grille also non-chrome, the FF looks a whole lot better !
