Allllllll seatbelts ever made do this, it's just age, or crap and dust mixing with the grease in the winding spring.

Yes they do go faulty alot... Two things to do, Remove the B pillar cover and clean the seatbelt guides (little aluminium bars) as they do get covered in a sticky thick dust... if that fails to work then change the belt (which we do as well as cleaning the bars usually) Belts are a very reasonable £65, hence why we tend to change the belt at the same time as cleaning because of the labour time...

Ive been quoted £256 by a dealer to fix mine! Does anyone have any guides on how to do it yourself? |

An easy DIY job Remove the B pillar cover,,, Tork screws and clips, remove the seat belt and replace There are no pyrotechnics in the seat belts so no airbag worries... Craig |
