You can run the engine with the MAF disconnected, try that see if it makes a difference |

Sounds like a fuel issue. I had it before I changed my fuel pump and the injectors/fuel line/inlet manifold were cleaned.

sounds like a blocked crankcase vent. |

Good point, could very well be something like this. I remember the BMW engine has some issues in that field with the PVC valve etc. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
