No, they changed in 10MY and on i think where it got the adaptive cornering guff to help keep it flatter FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Yeah the suspension set up on my TDV8 is way too floaty at times , the SC set up was a helluva lot better … ====================================

"On the supercharged model, the suspension was adjusted to provide flatter cornering but at the expense of an inch or so of articulation, which will slightly restrict ultimate off road performance."

for 'normal' off road performance the s/c will not suffer at all, member justinp brought his 2006 s/c to salisbury plain and he had no problems 'doing' what my td6 and member Doms 2007 tdv8 did... ... - .- -.

TBH the wheel and tyres will affect it just as much as the TDV8 will be on 19's and the sc on 20's which have a slightly stiffer sidewall with their reduced height and 20's being more road biased tyres in general in standard fitment. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

there are probably more tdv8's on 20'' tyres than 19'' looking at the ebay/autotrader/ps ads i have been perusing lately....

Same tyre model will be stiffer in 20 than 19 as there is less of it to move

the difference in side wall dimension between a 255/50/20 and a 255/55/19 same make tyre/type is 13mm so your cardboard theory is very inaccurate.
indeed this is well documented, but the reason the td6 gets the vibrations is because of the torsional oscillation causing a driveshaft resonance..this only happens on the diesel and not the petrol model.... ... - .- -. Y. O. L. O. . |

The analogy is crude but an affective one.
