I really need to know if there's any difference in the quality. Also where could I buy genuine parts other than via my MD? |

I think they're about £30 + vat but this was a few months ago. I don't know if the petrol has different brakes.

Please please please think long and hard about where and who you purchase brakes from on eBay... There are some very very dangerous crap out there for sale by some unscrupulous sellers! Some are even fake branded items!

I agree that you need to buy the best you can and never scrimp on brakes and tyres. Hence why I'm asking around for measured opinions from those who know. I've seen vented ones too but I think it's best to go with the original spec discs as these were how they were meant to be. |

Craig, I completely agree. I didn't buy mine from anywhere, I bought them from Dan and took his advice.

I got Genuine parts from Dan when I did mine - with free postage (v.heavy !) - no messing about and I didn't consider them to be expensive. As for the sensor - I believe it's recommended to change in any case as it can self destruct on removal (and it was only something like twelve quid !).
