Not sure they'll be that good to be honest noddy.

They only have 1 led facing forwards so won't be that bright. The side mounted ones will be pretty much wasted.

I went for ones with 4 led's facing forward and 4 facing sideways, you can only really see the 4 forward facing ones. 2006 Mercedes CLS

It's a difficult call... I want as white as possible as I think the Xenon ones are a little bit too blue. Those ones above will no doubt throw a fault code up on the CanBus Sad Java with Ivory 2006 4.2 Supercharged. 23.5k miles - NOW SOLD!

Nice job Steve R. Thumbs Up Just put that on my "to-do" list. I'm not a fan of the yellowy side lights either.

Cheers,

Mike.

How about these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/8-LED-NO-CANBUS-WARN...1e5b227d26 ?

4 forward facing LED's & no canbus errors.

However - would I fail an MOT for having these "bulbs" - they show 4 point sources of light which may fall foul of type approval etc ?

They're what I'm using, if any worries come MOT time, just swap them for normal bulbs. Can't see how they would fail though, you can't really see that there's 4 seperate LED's...

dan ebay sell one with the canbus resistor thing to stop that fault i just got some but they sent me blue that did not look good even tho my 16 year old thought i was "sick" i have returned them for a replacement

Yeah, fitted some that arrived from ebay also - Censored . Far too blue as with Andy's above - also not impressed with the light given off. Mind you, I also have 06MY headlights which leave a bare exposed LED with no filter.

Ho hum. Back to the drawing board! Rolling Eyes

I tried the ebay canbus ones http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/8-LED-NO-CANBUS-WARN...1e5b227d26 and they are bright enough and match the HID headlight colours. Hopefully they won't fail the MOT either !

The ones in my earlier post above (ebay link).

Has anyone successfully fitted some non-error numberplate LED's ? Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
