Did you read about adjusting the large rubber bush on the arm?? If you fully tighten it when the car is jacked up it causes stress on the rubber when it goes back to normal position. When you assemble, leave the bolt slackish, then when the car is at normal ride height fully tighten it up.
On a related note... I had a clicking noise when I was doing low speed manoeuvres. It was due to the bolt on the bush not being tight enough. The new bush was a fraction too small and the bolt had to be super tight to bend the bracket in to grip the sides of the metal tube through the rubber bush.  Previously..

I did thank-you. However getting a 3' torque wrench on the nut without it being on a ramp is not that easy.
I did buy a fork set and a 21mm spanner as i had neither in the box. She took some beating i can tell you.

Just returned from a w/end in Edinburgh. Lots of m'way miles and this appears to have cured my problem.
