Just pull it off, I have and many others too, just be mindful you may have a line in the glass and paint work where the strip has sat for years. If it dont work.......burn it!

I just took mine of as there was rust underneath. I have to get the tailgate resprayed at some point but not problems with not having the trim in place There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t
