Hi guys,

Any one know what is required to have the side lights as daytime running lights?

Thanks.

Am I missing something here? Why not just leave your sidelights on all the time with nice bright LED bulbs in?? Previously..

IIDTool setting change on the LCM ?

[EDIT] only for dipped or main beam.

IMO the best solution is the fog light one Wink .

Just converted the front end to a 2010-12 front end and would like the Leds on the front to come on full time.

Tried the IIDTool, only allows dipped or main beam.

As it's a 2010-12 front end would be nice if the side light leds could be drls.

you could wire in a relay that is powered from ignition and feed just front side lights splicing the wiring coming from ecu

i have just checked my faultmate system and the only things you can enable on the LCM for DTR lights on is dip or main beam, hope this helps.

A drl relay won't do what you require.
You need a simple 3 or 5 pin changeover relay and wire as below.
I don't think the additional small current to operate the relay coil should affect the LCM.

"nicedayforit" thanks for that, will get my auto-electrician over next week and ask him to carry out this modification.

Thanks for the diagram.
