I found mine was slow when the battery hadn't been charged / topped up for a while

my battery started feeling low on power only after about 10 months, mainly cos i didnt use it very much, as said above charge it up or get a replacement. ... - .- -.

Mine did the same, and now it doesn't work at all! TBH I don't care, as I know if I investigate it the dealers will tell me it's a new steering motor or something that will cost me a fortune. Discovery 4 HSE

Get the automatic in/out with ignition cycle turned off via diagnostics... Will also save the life of the motors too |

Know this is an old thread but I have same problem with ignition lock slow to respond when key inserted, this was after a hard battery reset, I am aware steering column movement can be removed but post from Craig seems to suggest ignition lock can be coded out, if so can it be done with IID tool ? |
