The oil in my D2 TD5 is still pretty fresh looking after thousands of miles? If there was a lot of old oil residue in the sump I can see it, but other than that I can't see why it would discolour so quickly? |

It does go black rather quick in a diesel, but if you put a couplr of drops on your finger tips and rub then together it shouldn't leave a black mark, it should be a golden colour |

If I wipe the oil from the dip stick onto a cloth, it's black. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

We don't really like Shields as a dealer much apart from the guys in the parts department who are fantastic.

Any time I've been in there the, "salesmen", if you can call them that, have NEVER approached me, or even acknowledged my presense for that matter! How they stay in their jobs continues to defy me!

Here in the US, we don't really have this whole "stamps in the book" thing.
