United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Bournville

I'm a little biased but I love the combo of my Boxster and the RR Razz
It's sort of opposite to the RR, the boxster is small, fast(ish) handles really well, is a lot of fun in the summer and even when driven really hard is not bad on fuel Laughing

Look at the size of that garage!

Why don't we build garages in the UK that you can actually put cars in and still have room to walk around them?

Would you believe that new build houses these days with single garages are designed to be too small for even a VW Polo, because apparently 'no one uses their garages for cars anymore'. Ridiculous! Discovery 4 HSE

We toyed with the idea of another FFRR to go nicely along side mine Embarassed

We are pretty lucky over here with the garage size, this one is 22' across so plenty of room all around, its also L shaped so the boxster moves forward in the winter and gets covered over and I then alow the wife to use the garage Laughing

The Disco3 folks all know about my FFRRs stablemates but probably not so well documented here. I'm a bit of a pertrolhead and have a real passion for German 4x4s which don't have Hi/Lo boxes..........

I even have a German drug-dealing pimpmobile:

The RS4 (B7) is a fabulous car. Unlike a Porsche, you can drive to the supermarket and nobody notices what it is because it's 'just an Audi estate'. However, with 420bhp it will keep pace with most Italian exotica and it will leave these things behind on a wet twisty road. However, the 20v (RR) quattro - the grey one - is my special toy. Cool The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

When the top photo was taken, that car was simply a standard (WR) quattro with a replica paint job. However, I have spent the past 18 months (and a heck of a lot of money) turning that car into a truly functional rally car and there is some way to go with the project yet.

If you are interested, there is a thread on disco3 about it here Thumbs Up The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

Ah, piglet. Now I know who you are Thrasher. Smile

As for the standard size of a UK garage, I can confirm a Skoda Fabia fits in with space to spare for a tool chest and a few other bits... you just need a rather small 2nd car.

Of course, the 3rd car doesn't fit in the garage at all! Laughing
