Just read through that thread, a real labour of love, I had now idea the parts for those cars were so hard to come by. |

Nope! Seen plenty of them a number of times and I have my own Audi museum here anyway!
I'm not going to pretend to be Colin McRae. I've never done competitive stage rallying (yet) but have been involved in club-level motorsport for many years. In 1994 I won my class in the Scottish Road Rally championship as well as the club Sprint championship and Autotest championship. With my navigator, we're currently leading the Scottish Road Rally Championship overall, but it's all 'small beer' compared to proper stage rallying. In truth, when my car is finished my aim is to go out and have fun rather than win any prizes. I said at the age of 13 that I'd rally a quattro to Monte Carlo and after 30 years I'm getting close to the realisation of that goal. For me, that's all that's important. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom |

I find that our D3 works well with the RR. why would you need to being another brand into the mix. Mind you I wouldn't say no to a new XJ |
