2019 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aintree Green

I can't imagine anything major changing so soon after launch.

it's now that there will be loads of changes happening - as the design engineers will now have handed over to the production engineers, who's whole raison d'etre is cost down.

So, expensive sealants and fillers - use the cheap stuff they used on the Austin Allegro - we've loads of that in stock...

Running in engine oil? Ring round and get cheaper from the lowest bidder etc etc...

Hybrid = lets put a cheaper engine in, and make up for the loss in performance with some old bits out of a washing machine...

LWB = Remember those chassis we made that were the wrong size? I've just found a use for them as I've ordered some propshafts that are too long...

Sorry - just feeling a bit cynical today - as a result of 20+ years in the automotive industry (Supply chain to Ford/Rover/Nissan/Land Rover et al) as now I'm in the NHS and the same stupidity is still apparent and a system I've specc'd and delivered under budget is to be hobbled by 'cost saving' accountants to the point where it won't work!

Sadly I'm not the one who will suffer - I'm not (at the moment) a patient...

I can't say too much in public - but don't go mad if you live in the East.

There's talk of a more powerful Supercharged model, 550BHP.
