HDC yawn

Well after searching the forum I've seen a lot of folk have had this very problem I've just had.

Turned right to drive up a small hill (road not offroad) car seemed to bang, lowered bonged and gave the HDC inactive, select neutral to higher or something or other. Car turned off then on again.

Questions are these;
Take it I need to get it booked into Land rover to check out? (Under warranty so why not)
Will it do it frequently enough to be dangerous now its done it or can I just chance my drive to work tomorrow?

The car makes me nervous now as I've never had a car that just turns itself off after a simple right turn!

Yes, after nearly soiling myself and recovering from the jolt of its just stoping, I restarted the car all seems ok i was literally 2 metres from my house so not sure if the crawl home was part of the fault. Parked up and set the car to standard height. Turned off and on again seemed fine but i still don't want to get in it again!

I would get it checked for stored codes as its under warranty, mines started to do strange things since the temp has dropped. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Last time the temperature dropped the bong came on for tpms on the spare wheel! That's just cleared itself. Stupid thing.
On the height should you never really be driving it in the locked position on the height? Mine is always raised to standard, the padlock isn't illuminated on the air suspension button?

It's a 2007 its not locked in place. Sorry just read the manual and it should only be locked at access height for increased roof clearance. As its not locked in that position it's working fine.

Time to get it booked in for code checking on HDC error codes though boooooo
