Did they lube you up first ??? Fitting is very quick and they are available for I think £245 on e.bay, labour should be no more than 11/2 hours 2 max One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

I asked what the worst case would be - when I go to pick it up I don't intend to be paying £1,000 |

Well you have 1 air spring leaking, a lot of people change 2, I changed 1 18 months ago and all is fine, looks like you are getting charged a lot for the air springs, why not ask for a quote on labour, buy the springs off e.bay and have em delivered direct to the garage. I would be doing all sorts of clever things normally but with snow and a heavily pregnant wife I'm going for the easiest solution right now even if it costs me am extra £200-300 |

Fair comment I would just fit one for the time being, is it LR dealer at those prices, cause they may be only charging the right labour but from LR an air spring is prob close to £450, if its an Indy he should have asked if you wanted genuine or oem equivalent, we always do. I have done both front ones through Island 4x4, where I bought them (they shipped them to Nigeria) and had our mechanics here fit them. Fitting was easy.

Ok ill stop trying to save him about £600 then, bag has a slight leak and car can be driven for a couple of days, any garage can fit the air springs etc but I'll stop trying to help.

Thats great dude, have you got snow yet???? Be interesting to see what they charge you. I hate seeing people ripped off especially as im in the trade and we pride ourselves on being upfront with the customer etc. Hopefully I will sort something out with Martin soon and we may become sponsors on the forum as there dont seem to be any in the SE of the country (Gatwick/Crawley)

JB, there is no doubt you are trying to save Bienbn money and we all appreciate that , but the route he has taken to fix his problem is that he has a very pregnant wife...that clue is in his posts... ... - .- -.
