Picked up my 05 sc from high wycombe and drove back to Birmingham up m40 cruise, set at 80 and showing an average of 21.4 mpg which i thought was pretty good.

Picked my car up from the bodyshop, after having a new rear bumper fitted after the garage dropped something on it when it was in for service...........

Looks nice.

Picked mine up on thursday from MD, washed and polished, looked awesome. Trouble is that you tend to end up seeing all of the scuffs too. Half hour with some farecla and all is dandy again.

Just started to think about some new year car spendy. Maybe some nice supercharged lights, dont think i can justify a full facelift but some little bits just to wish it a happy new year. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Had day of work due to being rained off and took the opertunity to fit my parrot ck3100 to the ffrr

did a level 1 off road course with Ed Cobley at Rockingham (Top Gears Bowler man).
ended up being the only driver so I had him all to myself all day pretty well and got a free half day pass for the L405 when they get one to play with.
I'm just starting to calm down now. what a buzz!

Went with daughter on a scrape yard search for a rear window latch for her renault scenic, found a nice example, unfortunately some one had removed the struts from the tailgate prior to our arrival.

Asked her to hold the tailgate up whilst i stripped the latch out.

Arms get tied she lets the tailgate, go straight on to my head. Kids who'd have them.

Renault dealer wanted £46 plus vat, the parts search companies on the net wanted £36 including delivery.

Paid £2 including the swich as well. Three things in a blokes life his dog,his car and a Cornish pasty,nothing else matters.
