Really cannot see the point. It has none of the desirable bits of a 2012 car, just a superficial makeover in attempt to look a bit flash.

A standard car is infinitely preferable.

Really?? How can you say that when the original L322 now looks a tad old fashioned, exactly what desirable bits are worth paying the extra 70-80K for, this car has newer LED lights and the headlight ballasts are all going to be new, no horrible headlight wipers and whoever buys it is basically not really paying anything over the price of a standard car, Its hardly a 'barryboy' contender and i get the impression that your comment smacks of snobbery, you have just labelled any owners of 'facelifted' FFRR's chavs Shocked One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Next we will get that no one bought the Rangey because it has that certain prescence over other cars and of course no one secretly enjoys the feeling you get driving one! It was only bought because of function, in that case whats wrong with a cheap old defender with 4 pot diesel? It will go anywhere a FFRR will and far more Thumbs Up One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

IMO and it is only my opinion but the interior on 90% of RR's I have seen are just horrible but there again I always do go for black, if it werent for the amount of time and money I have put into the interior in mine it would definatly have been sold due to its electrical problems and another purchased but a complete colour change to black (and very matt like an aston) piano black upgrade and 2011 door panels is not something I want to do again. My sand interior looked very 2nd hand very quickly due to ingrained dirt from work clothes even with reg cleaning, the black still looks great and a weekly wipe over keeps it supple and clean. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

Mine is completely standard to look at. I didn't even put clear side indicators on it when I had to replace one.

To my mind, the original L322 is the purest interpretation of the RR Classic being brought up to date. Which is, to me, what it was supposed to be (looks wise anyway..).

The facelifts and things over the years have just been alterations to keep up with the Jones's.

I am purely talking exterior looks here, not technical functionality.

That said, if I was facelifting to 2012, I feel you'd have to do it all, or it ain't gonna look right.

Its a cheap way of driving round in a car that looks much more expensive, and I can't blame them for that.

It feels good to drive round in a Range Rover. It just has a "rightness" to it.

In another 20 years time an original unaltered 2002 L322 will be the one that the collectors want to get their hands on

If you like the look of the original thats also personal taste but jealous people just love to hit you with the 'Oh cant you afford a new one' line, its just nice to be able to take that away from them Very Happy As for the L322 being a classic in 20-30 years I fear there will not be too many left then as the reliability and problems will see to that, the facelift process is completly reversable should you choose. One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!

I get it now mr 'council estate facelift' has a 2011 and resents the fact that for under 10K other people can have one that appears to be the same and will go and do all the same things as his 80K wonder which is still it appears having a few little problems same as the 10K council chav version and all this with virtually no depreciation !!! Maybe I would be Censored as well Big Cry Rolling with laughter One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!
