A dealer is currently replacing one of mine and said that the replacement will need spraying up in body colour. Is that correct, do replacement sensors need spraying? |

If you want them to match. Don't think you can get replacement sensors in "all" colours. If you need to know for sure check with Duckworths Dan. .

hi archie, no it is not really icy. infact very mild at around 16 degrees at the mo. i will listen at the front and see if i can hear anything clicking? with regard to switching them on, i assume i just turn on the ignition and put it in drive to test them |

Leave it in park. There is a button, bottom left, to switch on the park sensors. |

When I lost the front sensors, it was the PDC ECU in the boot that needed to be replaced. |

On mine (2007MY) that will not activate the fronts, reverse has to be selected or switch pressed before system is switched on |

yes, when i start, i jus put in reverse and on comes the light and the rears are working, when i pull forward, up until they stopped, the fronts came on without having to do anything else. when i start driving, after a short while the light goes off. i guess i will just do the checks as i expect it is either the sensors themselves or the rear ecu
