Shame. You shouldn't contribute to threads if you aren't willing to help. This is where your commercial interests cause conflict. |

Craigs remark was 'tongue in cheek' and he does in fact contribute a lot of advice on the forum..

About a year ago I bought a set modules that cost £180. (including tools and full instructions.) it's on my car now and the rear lights haven't missed a beat since installation!

So I fitted them today, got everything sorted apart from the fog light issue, which I have tried to solve with the relay idea and it worked to a point, the dash warning still exists with or without the ballist attached and the relay buzzes when the sidelights are on, but it enables you to switch the fogs on and off as normal, so i think i am close....Changing the ballist to a heavier one helps...but couldn't live with the buzz! Am I missing something?

Hi i overcame this problem using a trany BD679 and a 8v2 zener diode use the trany to feed the relay on c put a 47r resistor between trany e and 0v put 100u cap between trany b and 0v and zener between trany b and 12v jobs a good one relay will only turn on if voltage is above 10volts |
