Yes spoke with Powerful.

Also they have now pulled the 05-09 kit from their range, only supplying the 02-05 kit...

So what's the solution you have for post 05 when you're doing your conversions?

Shame. You shouldn't contribute to threads if you aren't willing to help. This is where your commercial interests cause conflict.

Craigs remark was 'tongue in cheek' and he does in fact contribute a lot of advice on the forum..

also consider that Craig is a site sponsor and because of that we get a forum free of ads... ... - .- -.

Bought the lights from Rob. jrautoelectrics16@yahoo.co.uk '01 1.8i Freelander. Grey/ grey

So I fitted them today, got everything sorted apart from the fog light issue, which I have tried to solve with the relay idea and it worked to a point, the dash warning still exists with or without the ballist attached and the relay buzzes when the sidelights are on, but it enables you to switch the fogs on and off as normal, so i think i am close....Changing the ballist to a heavier one helps...but couldn't live with the buzz! Am I missing something?

Edit:-.... I have solved the "check fog light" warning now, so it's just the buzzing relay I need to sortout now, I understand I need to loose the 3 odd volts that exist when the sides are on, so maybe an item missing in my modification?!? A capacitor or something like that, this is not going to beat me!! 😡

Hi i overcame this problem using a trany BD679 and a 8v2 zener diode use the trany to feed the relay on c put a 47r resistor between trany e and 0v put 100u cap between trany b and 0v and zener between trany b and 12v jobs a good one relay will only turn on if voltage is above 10volts
