hampshire back to belgium, had to 'unpack' half of tescos@dover search, as well as open the bonnet for an engine inspection, mirror all around the underside of the car, wife and kids questioned - all at the final checkin time....so much for semi-dip plates......Now g4s was there not a problem with them during the summer??. |

Changed a rear caliper on the Range Rover as it was sticking, one of the easiest jobs I've done on the car, even the brakes bled ok!

Picked it up from body shop. Bonnet, front and rear bumpers re-sprayed.

Today cleaning the outside a little bit, finished fitting the sump guard with the splash guard retaining bars, remounted the exhaust hanger on the drivers side, finally sorted the bonnet cable out (grommet part is a nightmare and still not in right!) filled her up, then demon shined her to keep her going till detailing week

Changed my broken bonnet cable......not too bad a job, took me about 40 mins start to finish, then gave the carpets a good shampoo, cleaned all the rubber mats, then washed it. Came back into house just now to heat up, cup of tea than back out to dry it off.....then....perhaps a beer or two Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather..... |

Finshed off painting lights im well pleased as I still think it maintains the classy look without making it look tacky and very easy to do

Fitted new Nexens to the front of the FFRR. I will post an update when I have done a few miles on them. So far I have not noticed any great change in noise levels. I have not had the chance to test grip in the wet. Previously..

Checked my sat nav and comms stuff was dry, as the sat nav would not fire up last night. The sat nav works again now but when I bought my TD6 Vogue nothing worked because of water damage. I have replaced the kit and sealed the leak in the body at the top of the tail gate but suspected last night it was leaking again but no its all dry, maybe just damp weather.

Updated my satnav to 2011/2012 maps. I had a 2004 disc in the DVD drive. I must say I was hoping for better, but the newer version looks just like the old. I was hoping for a tomtom type look to the mapping, but no, it still looks crap. Previously..

Left it at the garage to get the pixel issue fixed under warranty. They phoned me to say they have changed the ribbon inside the cluster, but its not fixed it, but it's better than it was.
