Well for anyone who may have the same issue, it turned out to be the compressor is knackered.
Had it plugged in to diagnostic machine and it confirmed it.

I just need to decide wether or not to rebuild it myself.

Hi again folks.

Could anyone in the know give me a quick rundown on rebuilding these compressors.
I intend to buy one of those kits off Ebay and Iv'e read a few threads, but can anyone tell me if it is that easy to do?
Are there any bits of the build where i'm likely to come unstuck.
I just don't want to get the thing in bits only to find i can't finish it for some reason.

Many thanks.

I'd just let Meerbusch do it and save the hassle if it was me (lazy and clumsy and not technical). It's only £100 or so. Not sure how much the kits are?

It is easy to do !

If you have a poor memory like me just do what I did take photos of the compressor before you start. Cover all angles.

Step by step take photos as you strip it down.

So when you put it bact together you can use it for reference.
