Here's a puzzler ??

2002 vogue, 4.4 V8.
Computer/sat nav screen was a bit darker than usual when starting up this morning. 5 minutes down the road it went blank and the radio stopped - it's now dead, except the land rover introduction logo flashes up now and again while driving along, it's pretty random in it's flashes of life, smooth road or bumps doesn't make any difference. Radio/CD is also dead, even the little orange on/off light is dead.

Now at the same time the instrument indicator lights also stopped working - the indicators all work, but no instrument indicator tell tale lights on the dash display. The instrument background lights are all ok, as is everything else.
When i say they all work, the left hand front indicator doesn't work, well it does if the lefthand indicator is on as you start/crank the engine, the moment the engine starts the left front stops . All other indicator lights work, including the side repeaters

Fuses all ok, even swopped them all around just to double check.

Anyone else had anything similar ?? Scratching my head and staring at it in confusion for the moment. Exclamation

Same as Andyboy - water in the connector pins - removed , dried and refitted with a small amount of silicone grease Wink
That was over a year ago and no further issues Thumbs Up

No water anywhere. But would water in the satnav and amp unit effect the indicator lights on the instrument panel ?

Checked the battery, have all the volts but the amps seem to drop lower than they should when load testing the battery.
