got hse with sat nav on a 52 plate radio is fine when key in pos 1 or 2 ,when you start the car ie pos 3 then back to 2 after five to seven seconds sound goes off,turn car off back to pos one and two its ok till you start up again then dose the same again only happens every so oftern but realy anoying can be off for ten mins then come on for a couple then off again

hope some one can point me in correct direction hve tried contact cleaner on the multi plugs in the boot area

Sounds like a Bm54 problem.Let me know of you want it repaired.

its fine now was dirty contacts on ignition switch and unit in boot
