hi, looks like there not a prob to talk about sat nav disc, remember if your car is pre 05 you will have a mk3 ...cd based and not the mk4 dvd unit, so the upgrade will not work nor will the map.. i have v3.2 with the landrover logo and 2009 map, works 100% dvd, i am doing a new splash for my FFRR .

1. Yes, the firmware update is on the Map disc, just insert it and it will prompt you to upgrade... or you can go to the hidden menu ( hold your finger next to the nav screen at top for about 5 seconds, a number pad pops up, then input the code 134679, and the menu pops up...in here you can check the version, and force an upgrade.) Remember that the upgrades are on each and every nav dvd, so the latest 09/10 has the latest release. My car is the 2007 MY, and had a really old version of software, the new one improved it a lot, such as when you first click on "agree" , it now auto prompts for a destination..... and it now has the ability to "cancel guidance" on the first menu without having to go through loads to find it. there are other bits and pieces, and appears faster. Also obviously the new updated maps. 2. I "PM"-ed you last night....... Enjoy. |

Is there anyone left who hasn't done this upgrade!? The Speed camera warnings are great as are the LPG POI, my previous version had that too. I'm going to do the S/W upgrade this weekend, and will report back. |

hi dan, still messing around with the map disc, do you have both cameras and lpg stations on the same disc, and in the nav menu if your running v3.2 should give you the option to turn on/off the cameras, does it give you the option on the lpg stations .

Is it also possible to buy the DVD? I've never seen Speed Camera POI in the normal Navigation Disc. |
