Offroad display ... thing that shows you wheel position etc, also the only way on touch screen to see easily the 'mode' as motorway has no indicator. Check the 'MANUAL' and it will show the mode in their screenshot. It does not occur, EVER. Land Rover Addict

Stu, as far as im aware when the Facelift happened that function was removed hence the light disappearing from the dash... Pre facelift cars lower at 65mph

Pre facelift cars have an extra light with a motorway sign. The light that states your car is in "normal height" would go out and the motorway light (your operating light on the left) would come on when the car had lowered itself 25mm... You could also lock it in motorway mode on pre facelift cars...

The DRL setttings on the IIDTool will bring on the main beam bulbs at varying %age on your original headlights.

Don't see why it would not do it. On my 2005 with IID tool it can be set for main beams (% variable) and also headlights. The wiring to the new lights would just control the same things as the old one, the only difference is the LED sidelights, but they take the control form the sidelights on the older lights so as long as you have resistors it should not make a difference.

Be warned that if you use main beams at 60% in Yorkshire you get a lot of people pulling behind you and flashing their main beams trying to tell you that you're main beams are on. This is obviously solved by letting them overtake and then turning your main beams on properly, optionally (and depending on how agressive they have been) follow them with your main beams on for 20 miles or so
