hissing from driver side wheel arch

Hi all

Parked my car on a kerb this morning outside my house to wash it, raised the suspension to off road to clean the wheel arches, and i started to hear a hissing noise coming from the drivers side wheel arch. Is this the bag thats gone? or do you think it could be the crosslink valve?

Matt

Sounds like the air bag, time to spray the soapy suds on and test for leaks

Does hissing go away when in standard height or access height?

If so most definitely air bag.

So unless it is going into the stealers: http://www.fullfatrr.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=359 .

Matt, stick it up on high and gently lift the offending wheelarch up (put your backside against it and lift the wheelarch) if you get a louder hiss, its the bag... Be gentle though as your wings are alloy...

Sounds like a bag matt. Get some soapy water on it to prove. Use a trolley jack to get the offending corner to raise if needed.
