It'll be the charge cooler pump wiring - do a search, common problem on the SC, a lot of the pumps were wired up back to front so the pump runs backwards - when you drive it hard the charge temp gets too high and it restricts performance........

Anyone want to rent out the fan removal tool/removal of aux water cooling pump
