Hi guys,

A shock to my system was late for a golf tournament and drove my S.C. Hard and ended up
Limping to the golf club the last 10 miles as lost most of the power and got an error message
On the dash of reduced engine performance.

Anyway I was so of I played crap, and was suppose to go out but got back into the car and drove home gently
And everything was fine,

So any ideas guys ? And will the IID tool tell me, I do need to invest in one can someone tell me the model number
For the full diagnostic tool.

Or do I need to book it into a dealer.

It'll be the charge cooler pump wiring - do a search, common problem on the SC, a lot of the pumps were wired up back to front so the pump runs backwards - when you drive it hard the charge temp gets too high and it restricts performance........

Eesy fix and best to replace pump as well - there is a bulletin about it  Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....

Rubbish fuel that's interesting filled up at tesco with there normal unleaded £100,

Checked the bulletin with my vin number and my numbers not showing,

Iid tool will that tell me anything?

Just checked vin number and yes the wiring on my aux water cooling pump is back to front.....

Therefore it's a definate dan the man job again, I'll be owning shares at duckworths soon lol

You don't need to remove the fan, it's the small cooling pump at the LHS of the radiator (or RHS) when looking at it - quite an easy job. Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....
