Occasionally, on start up in the morning, my fan is noisy, not every day, it soon dies off. Not tested to see if it is temperature, weather, usage (did I use the car the day before), but for some reason it does it every now and then. I am not bothered, neighbours should be up by the time I leave anyway .

Joe's fan is only occasionally noisy because he lives in cold, rainy England. Here in the Alsace it can happen nearly all the time in summer.
